Reimagining our cities: Alternative narratives through Mapping
Cluster first shared with us a number of mapping projects, which always involved an element of storytelling that stemmed out of knowledge of the culture and heritage of these places. We discussed the importance of maps as tools, as well as the power they hold to reveal certain narratives, and hide others, and the responsibility that lies with mapping.

In the second part of the event, we held a workshop which explores the potentials of sound mapping, through a walking route in Jabal Amman.

Followed by a session afterwards where we discussed our perceptions and sketched out different interpretations of our walk. We put together our perceptions in this collage map.
